ZiffLaw’s Christina Bruner Sonsire Named Best Lawyers 2021 Lawyer Of The Year!

Congratulations to my law partner Christina Bruner Sonsire for being named the Best Lawyers in America “Lawyer of the Year” in the field of Personal Injury Litigation-Plaintiffs for the Binghamton region, an area that includes all of the Southern Tier.

I am so proud that Christina won this prestigious and highly deserved award.  Christina is a tenacious advocate for her clients and has achieved many substantial settlements including multi-million dollar settlements.  Hard work, intelligence and a strong competitive spirit combine to make Christina a truly outstanding personal injury and medical malpractice lawyer.

Each year, Best Lawyers in America recognizes the top 6% of private practicing attorneys in the United States, and is the only fully peer-reviewed publication to award such distinctions.

Christina has received numerous recognitions for her work in the courtroom, including being named a Super Lawyer in the field of medical malpractice each year since 2014, achieving admission into the United States Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and receiving the New York Academy of Trial Lawyer’s President’s Award for outstanding trial advocacy.

In addition, for the past nine consecutive years, the Ziff Law Firm has been named a National Best Law Firm by U.S. News, the only plaintiffs firm in the Elmira, Corning or Ithaca areas to receive such designation.

Aside from her work in the courtroom, Christina is the Minority Leader for the Chemung County Legislature, the President of the Arctic League, and a soccer coach for the Soaring Capital Soccer Club.  In college, Christina had a stellar career playing Division 1 soccer becoming the first female soccer player ever inducted into Georgetown University’s Sports Hall of Fame.
